Wound Care Nurses On-Site
Taking proper care of your wound will help it heal. Very few facilities can offer our level of expertise in wound care. Pine Ridge has a certified wound-care nurse on-site who treats patients who have incurred wounds from surgical intervention, trauma, infection, or unrelieved pressure.
Your healthcare provider may also show you how to clean and dress the wound when you return home. He or she will also explain how to tell if the wound is healing normally. If you are unsure of how to take care of the wound, be sure to clarify what dressing to use and how often you should change the bandages.
