Appointment Rescheduling
We think it’s important to offer appointments in a timely manner so you can receive care when you need it. Call the practice as soon as possible if you need to cancel an appointment, so that it can be filled by another patient in need of care. If you provide less than a 24 hour notice, it may be documented as a “no show.”
We understand that there are sometimes unavoidable emergencies and busy schedules that interfere with scheduled appointments. Three “no shows” or missed appointments in a 12-month period may result in dismissal from the practice. In addition, any incident of abusive or rude behavior toward physicians or staff members may also result in a dismissal.
Patients who have been dismissed from our practice will receive 30 days of emergency care services. Medical records will be transferred to a new doctor upon the patient’s request.
