Choosing a Provider
Before your baby is even born, it is important to establish a relationship with your obstetrician, ob-gyn, or certified nurse midwive, who will give you the information and support you need to help you and your baby have a happy, healthy pregnancy. When it is time to deliver your baby the comfortable, family-centered birthing suites at the Lakeland BirthPlace feature the latest in technology with plenty of space for your family and loved ones. Our caring and experienced labor and delivery professionals will give you the information and support you need to help you feel relaxed and confident before, during, and after your delivery.
Breast Feeding – The Healthiest Choice
Good for babies – great for mothers. The health benefits of breastfeeding for both mother and baby have been widely researched and proven. Going Home
Once you’ve returned home with your baby, a nurse will call you within the first few days to offer support and answer any questions you may have about the care of your baby.
